Roosevelt Saillant (born April 23, 1975, in Port-au-Prince, Haiti), known as BIC Tizon Dife, is a Haitian rapper, singer-songwriter, and slam poet. He launched his career around 2000 (Flex; then the BIC collective: Brain-Intelligence-Creativity) and has since released multiple studio albums that fuse hip-hop with konpa, jazz, and traditional rhythms. BIC is renowned for socially conscious, poetic lyrics. He served as a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador (2021–2023), has worked with SPEDH and CERFAS, partnered on road-safety advocacy with Handicap International, and was Artist-in-Residence at MIT in 2019 (digital storytelling/music/poetry). In 2014 he received the Institut Français “Visas pour la création”.
