Money Honey Mike (real name Jean Huberman Charles) was a Haitian rapper, writer and founding member of the Carrefour hip-hop collective Original Rap Staff (O.R.S.). Active since the mid-1990s, he helped popularize Kreyòl/French rap with tracks such as “Mèsi” and “Tout Moun Sou Blof,” and later issued independent singles. He died on January 28, 2022 from COVID-19 complications, prompting tributes across Haiti’s rap scene.
