Biography
Original Rap Staff (O.R.S.) is a pioneering Haitian hip-hop collective from Carrefour (Port-au-Prince), active since the early 1990s. The group helped define Kreyòl rap with sharp social commentary and released two studio albums, “Ké pópóz” (1996) and “Nap Toujou La” (1999). O.R.S. is credited with Haiti’s first rap music video, “Bagay dwòl,” filmed in 1994 by director Richard Sénécal at the Carrefour Sports Center.
