Biography
Michel Joseph Martelly, better known as Sweet Micky, is a Haitian musician and former politician who served as the President of Haiti. He gained fame as a konpa singer and bandleader, celebrated for his provocative lyrics, flamboyant stage presence, and energetic music. His career as the "bad boy of konpa" made him a beloved and controversial figure in Haiti. After a successful musical career, he transitioned into politics, serving as the President of Haiti from 2011 to 2016.
