Phil Collins is an English drummer, singer, songwriter, and record producer. He first rose to fame as the drummer and later lead singer of the rock band Genesis. He also embarked on a highly successful solo career in the 1980s, becoming one of the most successful artists of the decade with hits like "In the Air Tonight" and "Against All Odds." He is a member of both the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Songwriters Hall of Fame.
