Reminisce

Remember the 1st time u made me smile?
Since June 15, 1994 u brought sunshine into my life
Ever since, my days became unforgettable
Remember the long smiles I had when u babysit me?

When I tripped and fell, u held out your hand
When I got in problems, u guided me
Never left me to be sad
Always trying to get that smile on my face

Then the day u were sent away
I couldn't believe such day had come
My ignorant mind couldn't understand why
I began to cry

Hard to face reality of your absent presence
Prayed to God that soon you'll come
I wished under the stars above
Hoping it wouldn't take too long

I heard u were finally coming back
Ecstatic to know I'll be bringing u home
I saw u and I burst into an ocean of tears
Years later, remembering that day brings sadness back again
