      Creole Beef

      Serves: 5 people
      Cooking time: 60 minutes

      Ingredients

      • 750 g of beef (chuck or round)
      • 150 g of onions
      • 5 cloves of garlic
      • 100 g of tomatoes
      • 1 sprig of thyme
      • 2 pinches of mixed spices (4 spices)
      • Salt
      • Pepper
      • Oil

      Instructions

      • Cut the beef into 2 cm cubes.
      • Brown the beef in hot oil, then set aside.
      • In the same pot, sauté finely chopped onions and crushed garlic with salt and pepper.
      • Add thyme, mixed spices, and crushed tomatoes to the pot.
      • Return the beef to the pot and mix thoroughly.
      • Cover and simmer over low heat for 1 hour until tender.
